Susan Gilliam Studio

312 East High Street 859-351-4584

Susan Gilliam's Art Studio, located at historic 312 East High Street, became a working studio in 1981 when Susan used it primarily for painting and showing paintings in her front window. In 1988 Susan's husband, attorney Frank Gilliam, died and she decided to make the studio her home. She now offers drawing and painting classes to students of all ages, and tries to rotate her new works in her front window as often as possible, allowing those who pass by on the street to see the progress she makes as a painter. Susan does both commission work and her own inspirations. She is also planning to show art works by others on a regular basis, including those done by her students. Her Hop offerings include live music and a great buffet!
