This turn of the century boarding house was built in a section of town famous for its large slave market and auction block of the 1800's. It is several doors down from the historic location of the office of Cassius Clay's abolitionist newspaper and near the location of several large slave holding pens. It is home to the studios of Laverne Zabielski, wearable art; Lynda Hoff; Diane Kahlo, painter; John Ridener; Michael Shaver, painter/draughtsman; John Lackey, Tony Adams, and Robert Morgan, AIDS activist/artist. The gallery is a long, tall, sky lit salon. Haitian Voodoo Art is almost always available.
