Accredited by the American Association of Museums and the second largest art museum in Kentucky, the UK Art Museum collects, preserves, studies and exhibits the best of humanity's artistic heritage. The museum maintains a growing permanent collection of more than 3,900 European and American paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings, photographs, and decorative arts. There are also holdings in the art of the Americas, Africa, and Asia. Permanent collection galleries and a changing schedule of diverse exhibitions provide a broad range of experiences for the visitor.

Hours: Tuesday - Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.; Friday, noon to 8 p.m, closed on Mondays and University holidays. Admission is free on Friday from 5 to 8.
